Catching a predator takes a lot of work. A few teams are needed in doing so. Our decoys will sit in chat rooms and wait for a predator to confront them online. (We never contact them first). We wait for a predator to provide enough evidence in the chats and them ask to meet the decoy. At this time we have a location and time set up for a hunter to confront them. We always contact law enforcement prior to meeting the predator and make sure that we have the support. If you have any questions please let us know.
Decoys work to get the evidence, this can take up to weeks even months of evidence to collect.
Research on the predator background. Before the hunting team go to get the arrest made we do multiple checks on them, for e.g are they re-offenders? are they likely to be armed? Mental state (whether they are likely to try assault our hunting team or not when confronted?) They also organize the hunting team, e.g who is available in the area and how many are available to go.
Go out and confront the predator with the evidence from the decoys and the information about the person from the research team and get them arrested
Unlike most teams we do aim for 100% Conviction rate.
